Our client, a top European Manufacturing company specializing in Kitchen Equipment & Refrigeration is looking to hire a Production Manager for their factory in UAE.

Salary: USD 5K - 6K + Family status

Main Objectives: Should be a multitasker to oversee several operations at a time. Responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of production processes. Responsible for allocating labor resources, create and tracking production schedules; ensure required materials are selected and purchased; and cost adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Team Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the production. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards. Supporting, motivating, and providing guidance to the team and to review their performance.
• Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
• Process Optimization: Drafting a timescale for the job and monitoring the production for schedule adjustment. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs. Identifies the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimizes the implementation and deployment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Negotiate and report on issues related to mechanical, machinery, generating assets and equipment as well as selection and maintenance of equipment to the reporting manager.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
• Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Provides regular status and capacity plan updates with the team and to the reporting manager.
• Identify and report recurrent problems and make assessments to be made of working practices and the possibilities of implementing changes to improve productivity.

Qualifications & Profile:

• Degree in any Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years Experienced in stainless steel sheet manufacturing/fabrication of industrial kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of operating Laser and bending machine - (Trumpf / Trutops Boost / Salvagnini).
• Strong managerial Skills and a problem solver
• Production & quality system management skills.
• Outstanding communication ability with very good command in English.
• Attention to detail
• Driving license is a plus.
• Good Knowledge in Health & SAFETY Environment and quality of the product
