Senior Learning and Development Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the L&D strategy aligned with business and talent needs.
• Define capability frameworks and learning roadmaps for store staff, front-line managers, and leadership roles.

• Design, deploy, and evaluate training programs across technical, functional, and behavioral competencies.
• Lead induction, customer service excellence, sales training, and store management development initiatives.
• Drive nationalization, internal career growth, and HiPo programs.

• Lead the digital transformation of L&D (e-learning platforms, LMS, microlearning, etc.).
• Drive data-driven learning decisions using dashboards and analytics.

• Partner with Retail Operations, HRBPs, and Business Leaders to identify learning needs and evaluate impact.
• Manage vendor relationships and external partnerships.

• Build and lead a high-performing L&D team.
• Mentor and upskill internal trainers and facilitators.

Key Requirements:

• 1015 years of L&D experience, preferably in retail/FMCG/hospitality.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale L&D programs across geographies.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and frontline challenges.
• Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning.
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
