Business Development Manager – Telco & IT Services

Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / Key Accounts Manager with a strong background in the Telecommunications (Telco) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand client base within the Telco sector.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in IT services, cloud solutions, and managed services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, presales, delivery) to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Business Development or Key Account Management within the Telecommunications sector.
- Strong knowledge of IT services, cloud, managed services, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and influence decision-making.
- Strong networking skills with existing Telco contacts in the region (preferred).
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
