Commercial and Credit Analyst

• Prepare dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting to support sales, finance and senior leadership teams
• Evaluate customer credit applications, risk profiles and payment behaviour to determine appropriate credit limits
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure commercial proposals and pricing structures align with business objectives
• Monitor overdue accounts, partner with internal teams to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow
• Support budgeting and forecasting by validating assumptions and analysing historical performance
• Work closely with finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, credit provision calculations and compliance with internal policies
• Develop business cases for new initiatives, promotions or product launches using financial modelling
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements and support automation or system enhancement initiatives
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks or credit agencies, when required for credit assessments
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights to support strategic decision‑making

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• Professional qualification of CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, etc. is highly preferred
• Distribution industry experience is mandatory and essential for the role
• Proven experience in commercial analysis, credit risk assessment or financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
• Solid understanding of financial statements, credit metrics and commercial performance drivers
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical thinking
