Social Media Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who can manage the day-to-day content calendar, publishing, captions, community management, content planning and platform execution for The Story House and selected client accounts. The person should understand Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok-style content, captions, hooks, scheduling and content performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage social media calendars for The Story House and its content pillars
• Plan weekly and monthly content across podcast, digital IP and services
• Write captions, hooks, post copy and basic scripts
• Coordinate with videographer, editor and designer for content delivery
• Schedule and publish content across platforms
• Track engagement, views, reach, saves, shares and comments
• Manage community engagement and replies
• Support guest tagging, partner amplification and collaboration posts
• Maintain content trackers and publishing checklists
• Support client social media accounts when required
• Prepare weekly performance summaries
• Identify trends, formats and content opportunities
• Coordinate shoot requirements and content briefs

Preferred Qualifications/Experiences:

• Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn
• 2-4 years in social media management, agency account management, content planning or creator/media brand management.
• Good writing skills for captions and hooks
• Understanding of short-form video formats
• Ability to manage calendars and deadlines
• Strong coordination skills
• Basic analytics understanding
• Ability to work with creative teams
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
