Reporting to: Senior Architect / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed architectural drawings, understanding construction standards, and collaborating with architects and project managers to bring design concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Create 2D and 3D layouts, elevations, sections, and detail drawings for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Interpret architectural sketches, site plans, and specifications to generate accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings are compliant with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site teams to revise and update drawings as per feedback or site conditions.
• Maintain an organized library of all drawings and revisions with proper documentation and version control.
• Assist in preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and coordinating with consultants/vendors when required.
• Make site visits for measurements, verification, or as-built drawings when needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 25 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, and knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, building materials, and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Mumbai municipal norms and development regulations (preferred).
