Job purpose
The Manager - HR Business Partner is responsible for advising on HR policies and best practices and assisting with the implementation of HR procedures and processes. He/she will work directly with the organization's leadership to develop and lead an HR agenda that closely aligns with the organizational goals.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement staffing and talent management strategies for the brand(s) to identify external talent and nominate internal potentials for training and succession plans.
- Design and execute induction programs and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Train, mentor, and motivate HR Business Partners and Shop Managers to develop their teams, ensuring employees possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to meet current and future business needs.
- Continuously assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices in comparison to relevant industry and market trends.
- Lead the development and implementation of processes, programs, and tools to support organization and workforce development at all levels, including career and leadership development, succession planning, and retention. Utilize various metrics such as exit interviews, employee surveys, absenteeism, turnover rates, and reporting tools to measure the achievement of the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures, including the employee handbook, reference guidelines, standard operating procedures, uniform procedures, working hours, staff lockers, and staff room procedures.
- Investigate complex hypotheses using a wide range of HR data to diagnose the underlying causes of key business issues and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and improve business performance.
- Manage relationships with internal clients and act as a business partner to build high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust. Oversee the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support the delivery of business strategy and plans.
- Design and implement the brand(s) manpower plan and structure based on store needs and productivity targets, covering budgeted hours and headcount. Provide data, including human capital projections and associated costs, to support the organization's overall budget.
Language & technical skills
Language proficiency- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Master's degree is a plus.
Experience
General experience- Eight to ten years of experience in Human Resources, or a similar role.
- Five years of experience in a managerial role.
