Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to manage all aspects of human resources for our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE labor laws, excellent communication skills, and experience in the construction industry.This role will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and training, ensuring that our HR practices align with our company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure proper documentation for new hires (e.g., employment contracts, visas, and labor cards).
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Compliance and Legal Matters:
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
- Manage employee visas, work permits, and labor card renewals.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the finance department.
- Manage employee benefits, such as health insurance, leave policies, and end-of-service gratuity.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and organize programs to enhance employee skills.
- Monitor employee performance and provide support for improvement.
- HR Policies and Procedures:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the construction industry.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook.
- Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with safety officers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- HR Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment stats, training progress).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Fluency in Arabic, English and Urdu.
