Job Overview:
Here&aposs your chance to step into the role of Assistant Retail Store Manager at The View at the Palm. In this position, you&aposll take on key responsibilities that include:
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee and update all areas with current product information, pricing, and offers.
- Manage concessions kiosk(s) to ensure an inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Participate in the setup and maintenance of the Retail POS system.
- Review and provide feedback on pre-opening designs and shop operations.
- Develop and implement departmental SOPs and policies.
- Create daily operating plans for Retail and Concessions.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and management of the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external safety standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Efficiently manage OS&E (bags, tags, etc.).
- Provide regular updates to management on sales and retail trends.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Experience- 5+ years in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
Skills:
- Sales, customer service, and inventory management. Experience in Attractions/Theme parks pre-opening preferred.
- Proven track record of planning, managing, and delivering projects.
- Strong experience in retail operations, with knowledge of TXT, LHH, and CG product line-ups
- Solid background in merchandising, team leadership, and visual merchandising standards
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, manage stock levels, and improve customer engagement
- Deep understanding of retail KPIs, product life cycles, and operational efficiency
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and performance tracking tools
- Creative and proactive approach to in-store displays, seasonal promotions, and enhancing the guest experience
