About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to independently manage the Human Resources function. This is a standalone role, best suited for someone with hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding- End-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs.
- Organize and conduct employee orientation and induction programs.
- Maintain and update employee records, HRMS, and documentation.
- Process payroll inputs and coordinate with the finance/payroll vendor.
- Handle employee queries related to policies, leaves, and benefits.
- Drive the performance appraisal process.
- Partner with managers to set KPIs and ensure timely reviews.
- Support employee development and training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, etc.).
- Draft, review, and update HR policies and SOPs.
- Handle audits and liaise with external consultants when needed.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and surveys.
- Be the go-to person for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Identify training needs through performance appraisals, feedback, and leadership input.
- Develop and implement learning programs to upskill employees and improve performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or standalone role.
- Experience in a startup or SME environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR tools/systems (e.g., HRMS, ATS).
