Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director (HRD) to lead our HR function in a fast-paced, innovation-driven tech environment. The HRD will play a strategic role in shaping the company's talent strategy, organizational development, culture, and employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership within the technology sector and a proven ability to drive change and business results through people strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with the company's vision, values, and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and talent strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to shape a high-performance, inclusive, and purpose-driven company culture.
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring attraction and retention of top tech talent.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build and strengthen the employer brand across multiple platforms.
  • Establish talent pipelines for critical technical and leadership roles.
  • Design and implement scalable L&D programs to upskill employees and support career progression, particularly for technical and leadership tracks.
  • Promote a continuous learning culture with measurable ROI from training initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation of a performance management system that fosters real-time feedback, goal alignment, and career development.
  • Lead change management efforts during organizational transformation and growth phases.
  • Analyse organizational structures and recommend changes to improve efficiency and agility.
  • Oversee the development and administration of compensation structures, incentive programs, and benefits tailored to the tech industry.
  • Benchmark against market data to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Maintain a positive employee relations environment that encourages open communication, trust, and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices in all jurisdictions the company operates.
  • Address complex employee relations issues with discretion and integrity.
  • Leverage HRIS and analytics to drive data-informed decisions in areas such as turnover, productivity, engagement, and DEI.
  • Evaluate and implement HR technologies to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
  • Proven experience leading HR functions through periods of rapid growth, restructuring, or digital transformation.
Skills & Competencies
  • Deep understanding of HR practices in high-growth tech environments, including remote and hybrid team management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Chinese language skills (reading and writing) for effective communication.
  • Experience with global HR operations or scaling HR in international markets.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD.
  • Experience working in agile environments or with product/engineering teams.
