Dredging Operations Manager

About the Role

To lead operations activities of the D&M related to, dredging, reclamation within deadline and budget available. Ensure high quality, safety and environmental standards.

• Provide the DRD periodically with reports on KPI's (e.g. progress, issues, equipment and results).
• Setup resource/consumables -usage plan and forecast of consumables.
• Works together with project control department to setup data stream of project data in order to create data dashboard to flag and notify points of concern/interest.
• Ensures smooth operation of various processes that contribute to the success of the department.
• Development of project management standards, policies, guidelines, procedures, standard method statements for the D&R
• Ensure that the QA/QC and HSE requirements are observed in all vessels and support craft.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine period, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of project.
• Manage revenue and expenses to reflect budget constraints.
• Make well-informed decisions for the project that are in best interest of the client and NMDC.
• Cooperate efficiently, effectively and constructively with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet Departmental goals.
• Ensure optimal staffing and resourcing for effective and efficient functioning of the Projects department in order to meet the business priorities.

• Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role in Dredging Industry.
• Field, operational and project management experience in marine construction and the dredging industry.
• Committed team player/ leader.
