Sales Engineer Building Services Segment

Your Main Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving growth and customer satisfaction by combining your technical expertise with a strong commercial approach. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas within the assigned region.
  • Generating and nurturing high-quality sales leads, conducting field visits, and maintaining ongoing communication with key customers.
  • Providing timely technical support to customers, service teams, and the sales organization.
  • Preparing competitive technical and commercial offers in line with WILO's pricing and sales policy.
  • Liaising with internal departments (PBUs, Competence Centers, Logistics, Customer Service) regarding pump assembly, customization, delivery, and commissioning.
  • Supporting complex applications or tender submissions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the building services and pump industry.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand evolving needs.
  • Logging client feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting actionable solutions to management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field).
  • Experience: 25 years in technical sales or support, ideally in pumps, HVAC, or building services.
  • Mindset: Energetic, entrepreneurial, and self-driven with a high level of initiative.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic, Turkish, or Russian is highly preferred.
  • Work Style: Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric mindset with ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to clearly explain and present technical solutions to clients.
  • Drive & Values: Ambitious and aligned with WILO's core values of innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and adaptability to navigate challenges.
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
