About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Finance to join our Dubai studio and take full ownership of the companys financial strategy and operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, while ensuring the long-term financial health of the business.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, support strategic decision-making, and lead a small but high-performing finance team to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information. This role is pivotal in enabling our fast-moving, design-focused consultancy to operate efficiently, grow sustainably, and continue delivering exceptional results to our clients.

Your Experience:

We are seeking a finance leader with over 10 years of experience in financial management within the UAE, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the companys financial operations, shaping strategic plans, and ensuring the organizations long-term financial health.

Experience in architectural, design, or consulting environments is highly valued.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters / CPA / CFA preferred).
  • 10+ years and 5+ in senior finance leadership, ideally within a professional services or design/consultancy environment.

You should have a proven track record in:

  • Strategic financial planning and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and Revenue Recognition models.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, particularly QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
  • Fund Raising and M&A Strategies

About the role:

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position. The Head of Finance will oversee all aspects of the companys financial strategy and operations, including:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies to support LIMAHs global growth, profitability, and market expansion goals.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modelling, ensuring alignment with company objectives and guiding executive decision-making.
  • Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Oversee payroll, invoicing, general ledger, work-in-progress accounting, and cost/revenue tracking in collaboration with project teams.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Optimize liquidity, collections, and payment cycles to support high project volumes and international operations.
  • Project Financial Oversight: Monitor project profitability, cost control, and pricing strategies across diverse sectors and regions.
  • Global Compliance & Tax Strategy: Ensure adherence to financial regulations in all operating jurisdictions, including UAE compliance, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Funding & Capital Structure: Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and investors; support fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and valuations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exposure, credit risks, and contract terms.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Implement best practices, process improvements, and technology/automation to enhance reporting speed, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance team, fostering capability and professional growth.
  • Executive Advisory: Represent the finance function in strategic discussions, advising the CEO and leadership team, and communicating complex financial matters clearly in English to internal and external stakeholders.
