Position snapshot:
As a Sales and Account Manager, based in Dubai, UAE, you will be responsible for driving B2B sales and business development activities for our steam and gas turbine services business globally, growing our customer base and strengthening existing relationships.This role requires a deep understanding of both steam and gas turbine technologies, as well as strong sales acumen.
How will you impact the business- Lead the sales effort for gas and steam turbine services globally, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and customers stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the customer&aposs needs are effectively addressed in the sales process.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs, provide solution and maintain trust
- Prepare and present proposals, support contract negotiations, and close sales deals.
- Understand competitor offerings and develop regional strategies to compete effectively.
- Manage commercial risks and coordinate the resolution of technical issues
- Assist in developing case studies, presentations, and technical sales content
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of technical experiences (field service or engineering) with focus on heavy-duty gas and steam turbine technologies
- Experience in sales or account management role in the power generation industry
- Deep understanding of the GE-vintage gas and steam turbine operation and components, with the ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and technical customer staff.
- Ability to work autonomously, without direct authority.
- Strong commercial judgment and skills required to create demand, commercialize sales leads, and effectively manage new customer accounts.
- Willingness to support other teams within the business (field services, engineering) on an as-needed basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 75% of the time.
