Role Description

As a Retail Sales Executive Tourist Services, you will be the face of Alike.io for tourists arriving at Dubais airports. Your primary responsibility will be to assist tourists in accessing a range of essential services, including mobile SIM cards, experience tickets, and other travel-related products.

This is a shift-based, customer-facing role located at airport retail outlets, ideal for freshers and those looking to start their career in retail and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Greet and engage with tourists at airport retail locations, providing information about available tourist services and offers.

Assist customers in selecting and purchasing mobile SIM cards, experience tickets (such as tours, attractions, and events), and other travel essentials.

Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.

Support customers with SIM card activation, ticket bookings, and basic troubleshooting.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, and promotions relevant to tourists.

Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service.

Collect customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve service quality.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and shift schedules.

Key requirements for the role

Must be currently based in the UAE.

Freshers are welcome; prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays (shift-based role).

Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an advantage.

Willingness to learn about tourist services, SIM activation, ticketing, and related products.

Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
