Senior Accounts Payable Officer

A leading FMCG/Food Manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking to hire a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join its growing finance team. This role is to ensure company's Risk management and correspondence with banks to fulfill their requirements on time

Location: Al Quoz, DubaiWorking Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all General Insurance policies - Property All Risk, Marine, Motor fleet and other policies
- Liaising with the Insurance companies related to Trade and General insurance and its compliance
- Co-ordinate with Projects team on Erection insurance and add the completed projects to General Insurance
- Negotiating with insurance brokers for renewal of all types of Insurance Policies and ensure the policy must be renewed before the expiry of the existing policies with best possible rates.
- To raise insurance claims as applicable based on damage information received from various departments and co-ordinate with concerned teams till settlement.
- Assess risk activities and propose / arrange new insurance policies
- Opening of import LCs based on the requirement
- Arrange to release the import documents from the banks and handover to Supply Chain Team
- Maintain active relationships with banks and provide the required documents along with updated KYC to banks/financial institutions.
- Correspondence with Banks & others through calls / e-mails related to official and staff matters.
- Providing information to Internal and External Auditors for smooth completion of the audits
- Knowledge of preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Risk Management & Trade Finance within a large organization.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP SAP and Excel.
- Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Dealing with Banks and Insurance Vendors.
- Work with a prominent name in the FMCG and food manufacturing industry
- Be part of a stable and structured finance team
- Use your SAP and credit control skills in a results-oriented environment
