Assistant Pastry Chef – Join Our Team ??

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Pastry Chef to support our pastry kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and pastry arts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Pastry Chef in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods
• Follow recipes, techniques, and presentation standards
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with stock rotation
• Ensure consistency, quality, and timely preparation of all pastry items
• Support in developing new dessert ideas and seasonal menu items
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

• Passion for baking and pastry creation
• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, doughs, creams, and decoration
• Creativity with an eye for presentation and detail
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Flexibility and willingness to learn new methods and techniques
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a pastry or bakery environment (preferred)
• Culinary or pastry certification/diploma is an advantage
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
