Digital Media Content Creator
The Role
We are looking for a self-driven Content Creator who will own NGJ Dubai's digital presence end-to-end, from strategy through to execution and performance review. This is not a support role. You will develop the content calendar, produce the content, manage the channels, and report on what is working.
Our primary channels are Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and our website blog. Our audience is the Dubai-based NRI professional — educated, heritage-aware, and quality-conscious. The content tone must match: knowledgeable, trustworthy, and culturally resonant — never generic or salesy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning- Own the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and blog
- Develop platform-specific strategies aligned to NGJ's positioning and audience
- Identify content themes, campaign hooks, and seasonal/cultural moments relevant to the NRI jewellery buyer
- Track performance metrics and iterate the strategy based on data
- Concept, shoot, and edit Reels for Instagram and YouTube Shorts
- On-camera comfort is an advantage; directing talent or spokesperson is essential
- Shoot product and lifestyle photography for social, website, and WhatsApp catalogues
- Style and frame jewellery, gemstones, and collaboration content for digital formats
- Manage photo library and maintain visual consistency across channels
- Write and post twice weekly on LinkedIn (Tuesdays: video, Thursdays: written)
- Maintain NGJ's voice: authoritative, educational, community-first — not promotional
- Craft captions, carousel scripts, and short-form copy across Instagram
- Write SEO-optimised long-form blog posts for ngopaldaas.com (2–4 per month)
- Topics span gemstone education, certification guidance, Vedic astrology & gemstones, care and styling — all pitched one level above basic search knowledge
- Work with web team on on-page SEO, meta descriptions, and GEO (AI search) optimisation
- Manage posting schedules and engage with comments across platforms basically from scratch to final posting
- Coordinate with the Dubai team for product availability, shoot access, and story ideas
- Liaise with outside operations (Trichy/Chennai) for archive content and new collections
- A genuinely interesting subject matter, 97 years of heritage, certified gemstones, Vedic tradition, and a specialist retail environment
- Direct access to leadership, you will work closely with the Dubai Head, not through layers of management
- Real ownership of strategy.
