Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Specialist role based in Dubai. The Procurement Specialist will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing materials and services, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support project timelines.This role will evaluate and qualify suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, and support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels. The Procurement Specialist will monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate procurement records, and collaborate closely with project, operations, finance, and logistics teams to align purchasing decisions with budget, quality, and compliance requirements.
The role will also involve analyzing market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and purchasing experience, including hands-on involvement in Procurement and managing Purchase Orders.
- Demonstrated ability in Supplier Evaluation, including vendor selection, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience securing favorable terms and managing risk within supplier agreements.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, compare bids, assess total cost of ownership, and support decision-making.
- Experience in construction, real estate development, hospitality, or related project-based industries is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
