About the Role

A leading, internationally managed 5-star hotel in Juba is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead the full HR function and drive a culture of high performance, service excellence, and continuous learning. This role is ideal for a hospitality HR professional with a strong hotel operations understanding and training/L&D expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end HR strategy: workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, retention.
  • Design and deliver training & development programs for all departments; build annual training calendars and track ROI.
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and career pathways.
  • Champion employee relations, engagement, and well-being; handle investigations and grievance/disciplinary processes.
  • Oversee compensation & benefits administration and payroll coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and company policies; maintain accurate HRIS records and reporting.
  • Partner closely with ExCom/Department Heads to align HR with guest-service goals and brand standards.
What Were Looking For
  • 10+ years experience in hospitality HR, with at least 35 years in a managerial/lead capacity.
  • Proven background in luxury or 5-star hotels (international brand experience is a plus).
  • Strong track record in training design, facilitation, and L&D frameworks (service excellence, leadership, compliance).
  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Hands-on, data-driven leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment with diverse, multicultural teams.
  • Relevant degree in HR/Business or similar; professional certifications are an advantage.
