Facilities Manager - Construction Site

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all site facility operations on a construction project. The successful candidate will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget, manage the full range of facility services, supervise staff, and be responsible for coordinating and processing payments to contractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all temporary construction facilities, including site offices, welfare units, utilities, and equipment
• Supervise and coordinate all soft and hard services such as cleaning, catering, waste disposal, maintenance, and on-site security staff
• Oversee the management of vendor and contractor payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations, including liaising with local authorities (e.g., DM, ADCD, Civil Defense)
• Administer and monitor site access control systems and support the enforcement of safety procedures
• Conduct routine site inspections and implement corrective measures where needed
• Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and in-house project teams to maintain uninterrupted facility operations
• Track utility usage and identify opportunities for cost-saving and sustainability
• Maintain thorough records of service contracts, invoices, inspections, and audit documentation.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of facilities management experience on active construction sites in the UAE or GCC
• Proven ability to manage site operations and site support services
• Strong working knowledge of local regulations and approval processes
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant facility or finance management software
• Relevant degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• UAE driving license is preferred
• CSCS card or equivalent certification is a plus
